A compact, traveling supply of watercolor pencils and paper accompany Lonnie wherever she goes -- be it Guatemala, France, China, Mexico or the coast of Oregon and the mountains of the Northwest. These drawings are varied in their style and focus and change according to her mood and thought. Some relate to nature and the details of intimate plant life or ancient geological formations; others are quiet moments in a museum inspired by the musings of other artists; or playful abstract energies that follow a whim. As such, they are not for sale.
